Whether you composed the 91st Annual Varsity Show or stage managed the 101st, you've contributed to the legacy of Columbia's most beloved musical tradition! One of the primary benefits of our new website is that it enables us to re-connect with our widespread Varsity Show family. We hope to not only keep you informed of Varsity Show related news and events, but also to help you get in touch with your former Columbia comrades.
What have you been doing over the past 5, 10, 50 years? Wrote a musical? Popped out a couple of kids? Moved to a remote island off the coast of Africa? Wherever you've gone and whatever you've done, we want to know about it! Our hope is to post a Varsity Show Alumni newsletter on this site within the coming months, including tales and tidbits from all of you.
Please send your updates and anecdotes to our producers, Erin Byrne and Jeff Schwartz at varsity@columbia.edu
We are well aware of the pervasive myth that the Varsity Show has an unending supply of money and a budget large enough to buy a small nation. However, just like any other student organization, we have to reach out to various donors and groups to fund our little show. The modern day Varsity Show has grown into an enormous production that not only requires an immense amount of time and dedication from the creators and actors, but also necessitates a decent amount of financial backing. Any donation you could offer would be enormously appreciated, and we promise that your money will be put to good use!
If you would like to contribute to the Varsity Show please e-mail the Producers, Becca Lewis & Darcy Zacharias, at varsity@columbia.edu.
